Argument Hour: Hate...

Alright, so the post about love got a lot of responses and mixed answers. Here is my argument about hate, this might change how you feel about love. Can hate at first sight happen? Here are a couple of examples, keep in mind that there are several levels of hate.

  • If you are born into a family that practices Nazisms. Isn't it programed in you to hate people that are not of the Aryan blood. You are taught to hate those that who do not have blond hair and blue eyes. Hate is part of your beliefs.
  • There are times when you first meet someone, or just seeing them across the room, you automatically judge. By judging, you are not giving them a chance to show you who they really are. This is a very minimal level of hate, but by all means, it is still hate.
  • For us Golden State Warrior fans; I absolutely hate the Utah Jazz. Besides from them knocking us out of the playoffs last season and them contributing to our 2 loss this year. I just hate the way they play, the color of their uniforms, their players, their logo, their "Mormon" beliefs, and etc. The point is, being from Cali, I have learned to despise Utah through the simple game of basketball.
I know my examples are irrational, but it is something to think about. Also, If hate is so easy to do, why must love be hard. Why must love at first sight not be possible? Hehe, just like all argument hours, this is here for you to think and have a mental debate within yourself.

I was actually ready to argue with you when you posted this, but what is cool is that after reading it, I agree. I mean it's crazy though that these kind of things could be programmed into someone's brain.

I guess it's just like how you could be conditioned to think certain things are beautiful. It's all about the conditioning. I mean as far as LOVE at first site goes, you could be conditioned to think something is the definition of beautiful and then when you see that exact thing, you could fall in love. The human mind!

That's why we want you to think people, the more you use your brain, the more you can do!

you guys are interesting i like your posts. but i'd rather not like to believe in love at first sight because it has always been my (limited) experience that the more you get to know someone, the more you grow to love them. has that ever happened to you? and maybe love at first sight does exist, and if you've experienced that, then i'm happy for you and a little bit jealous of you. but in any case, it is a very debateable topic, and i think about it a lot. whereas the topic of hate really depends on your view of people being naturally good or evil. just because someone grows up to naturally hate, does that make them evil? or does that just make them ignorant? yes, hate is evil. but even more evil is the man who will not be educated to break free of ignorance.

hah, just ramblin. good blog, ya'll.
