Invasion of Privacy?

Background checks are important in conducting a proper and safe business. They provide security for the employer and their business. Last week, I was channel surfing and saw an advertisement for conducting personal background checks. The website, “beenverified.com” states they are Americas number one background check. We understand the need for businesses to conduct background checks, but there’s a gray area to this website because personal information could be accessible to anyone. I decided to check the website out, and by typing any name it shows peoples birthdays, phone numbers, addresses, property value and possible relatives. Providing personal information to complete strangers could possibly be an invasion of privacy.
