Amgen tour update

So i was on my way to downtown Santa Cruz today to run some errands, but realized all the routes have been blocked off. Pissed off about not being able to go where i want, i decided to go get me something to eat, and that mother effing route was blocked too, so i got out my car to see whats up. Turns out that it was the California Amgen tour making its way through Santa Cruz. Now I am excited to see if i can spot out some of the MASH SF guys, but no luck. Anyway, the tour is on its second stage right now, they will be heading to San Jose tomorrow for stage 3 starting off by the shark tank. So if you have some free time tomorrow, go check it out and expect some of your regular routes to be blocked off! Ana (cf) had her point and shoot so i was able to get a couple shots and short clip, enjoy.

MASH SF California Ride

The guys at MASH are planning to ride through California, it is also known as the Amgen Tour of California. The ride will be all done on fixed gears and it is about 750 miles long! The race will travel almost the entire length of California from the state’s capitol, Sacramento, to Escondido, in San Diego County. The riders are scheduled for over nine consecutive days from February 14-22, 2009. For more info check this link or visit mash's blog, a detail route is posted a few pages back.
