Argument Hour - Fat Joe Diss

H to the OV, Jay-Z came out with a diss track aimed at Fat Joe. Here is a follow up remix of the track

let me just put it like this. Back when there was the East Coast/West Coast beef, there was some real ass hip hop coming out. Tupac had lyrics, and Biggie had some freestyle. But both of them, let me reiterate that, BOTH OF THEM, were geniuses in their own right. Part of that, was that they thrived off the competition. Biggie would call out Pac, Pac would call out Biggie, and I'm not one to really make assumptions but, I am sure as hell underneath all the hyped up drama, they were cool. Let me just put it like this, the drama was good for hip hop, but how far it went, was not good. Call people out, challenge them and see if they succeed. Survival of the fittest kids. Jay-Z may be one of the biggest sell outs in the biz, but you can't hate a fool for getting his, and on top of that, homie is more that just an MC, he's, "a BUSINESS man" For someone to do so much and still come up with lyrics that are relevant, ups for that. And for hating on Fat Joe, also. As Jay-Z put it, "Let's get back to making real music" and Fat Joe, that last song you came out with had absolutely NO SUBSTANCE! YADDIDAMEAN!

this dis is old. in the words of Just Blaze: So for some reason people think this "new" Jay/Uncle Murda thing is a Fat Joe Khaled dis.

It’s not.

really..

It’s also like 8000 years old and somehow dude got his hands on it and put a verse on it.

Now that I recall, it’s Blueprint 2 era..

I was going to use this verse for the S.Carter Remix CD but we couldn’t get the Pro Tools in time.

The illest Rap Nerd moment was Sadat coming back in and doign the hook for us.

Ahh the Good ‘Ol Days.

Anyway I really have nothing to do with any of this, but it’s funny to see a 6 or 7 year old record that I wtinessed being made come back as a "new dis record"

Or maybe Jay was just psychic and new that Khaled would be big one day and and decided to set away a dis verse just in case.. 6 or 7 years in advance.

Uhh.. yeah

Don’t fall for the Okeydoke folks..

Yours Truly,

King Bongo Beat.
