It's summer time again, and you know what that means. Free movies and music in the park. We previously posted the Music in the Park line up, so here is the movie one

Starlight Cinema's Present

SoFA District every fourth Wed of the month (Jun 24, Jul 22, Aug 26) at South First and William streets. An arts and entertainment hub and home of the growing late night gallery crawl, South First Fridays. The SoFA District is rich with options to stimulate your creativity.

* June 24 – Mad Hot Ballroom (2005/ Rated PG/ 105 minutes) documentary feature directed by Marilyn Agrelo.
This inspiring documentary follows 11-year-olds from three schools in the toughest and most culturally diverse neighborhoods in New York City as they are involved in a program that requires students to take ten weeks of ballroom dancing. These kids must overcome awkwardness with the opposite sex, a lack of self-confidence and their tempting surroundings to create a new path for themselves. Pre-movie entertainment – TBD local dance group performance

* July 22 – Romeo + Juliet (1996/ Rated PG/ 120 minutes) Starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Claire Danes, John Leguizamo, and Harrold Perrineu; directed by Baz Luhrmann. Although set in modern times in the city of Verona Beach, it is still the same timeless, classic story of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. The Montagues and Capulets are two feuding families, whose children meet and fall in love. They have to hide their love from the world because they know that their parents will not allow them to be together. There are obstacles on the way, like Juliet's cousin, Tybalt, and Romeo's friend Mercutio. Pre-movie entertainment - TBD

* August 26 – Shaun of the Dead (2004/ Rated R/ 99 minutes) Starring Simon Pegg, Kate Ashfield, Nick Frost, Lucy Davis, and Dylan Moran; directed by Edgar Wright. Shaun is a 29-year-old slacker who can’t get motivated about anything - even his girlfriend. When he finds that his whole town has turned into a creeping crawling nation of zombies he finds his purpose in life as his friends go on a baddie-bashing spree. He is determined to save his town, his girl and his family or die trying in this horror comedy. Pre-movie entertainment: “Zombie Crawl”

This was the best line-up but see the rest HERE

Personally, I want to check out that Zombie Crawl. I mean, zombie face painting and a pub crawl? Who's down to get faded and bike around SJ?
