Oddisee - Traveling Man

As a musician, life is often lived on the road. Each city leaves its imprint on the artist as they develop their craft. For Oddisee, the producer and MC brainchild behind 2009's critically acclaimed Diamond District, the life and travels of the artist is no mystery. Touring, recording, and keeping up with friends and family took Oddisee beyond his hometown of Washington DC to Australia, Europe, Asia, Africa, and South America. Rather than keep these experiences to himself, Oddisee is instead releasing a new 24-track instrumental album, sharing his worldly experiences – through music, directly with his fans; a 24 city sonic tour of the world. With this new release, Oddisee is the Traveling Man.

Being released digitally today and as a limited edition vinyl pressing on February 23rd, Traveling Man is an instrumental album truly influenced by the producer's surroundings. Each track was produced while Oddisee stayed in the city it was titled after. With these first three, take a visit to the festive "San Fran" as you travel with the woman who so smoothly sings, "Do everything you wanted to do, you're on your own, that's how it goes".

Bomb$hell Beauty of The Month

When this bomb$hell beauty introduces herself to the others, most would find her name to be a bit rhetorical. At a young age, Vikki Blows was expelled from school at the age of 13 for mooning. By the time she reached 15 she knew that she could get paid, for the same reason she got expelled and the rest was history. Her willingness to display her assets got her into Maxim, FHM, Zoo, and Bizarre Magazine. She has also had the opportunity to work with the people from Jackass, a little ironic hugh?

Nas & Damian Marley - As We Enter (Click HERE to Download)

Now I know we've been waiting on this album for a while. I've been checkin up on it ever since they announced they were going to work together over a year ago. I can't even remember how far back that is now, since it has been so long. Nevertheless, I've been looking around for whatever I could find, and this is what I got.

Food: Santouka Ramen

I was introduced to Santouka Ramen by my sister Karen. She took the family and me to this little spot in the Mitsuwa Marketplace off of Saratoga. I've always trusted her taste in food, and I must say, once again she was on point. I've seen a good amount of Ramen in my day, and I must say, this has been the best thus far.

I have only tried the #1 and the #4. The #4 being a #1 + more pork. But if you're a fan of Ramen, this place is a must.

Americans Love Their Weeds

Over the years, the use of medicinal marijuana has always been a topic that has arose debate over Americans. A recent study shows 81% of American adults agree to the legalization of the “pass it” plant, according to a telephone poll conducted by ABC news and the Washington Post. Studies have shown “Mary Jane’s flowers” can help fight ache in some patients and help deal with nausea that often goes along with cancer treatments, aside from cotton mouth, red eyes, and munchies. With that said, San Jose has its own cannabis club in downtown that offers 45+ strains, 25+ top shelf strains, 15+concentrate varieties, 35+ edibles and tinctures presenting a full range of holistic solutions. Purple Elephant is located on 642 East Santa Clara St, open from 11a-9p to those who have cannabis club cards.

This article plainly raises awareness and does not classify myself as a marijuana user or advocate.
