The Boston Globe just released a 3-part feature of photos from 2008. These photos amazingly cover the whole spectrum of human existence. Many of the most memorable acts from politics, war, and pop-culture were captured in the best of 2008 photos. Some photos are extremely graphic, so enjoy them with a cautious eye. Part 1 and part 2 have been released witha part 3 on the way.
