For those of you who are snowboarding fans that love your air force ones and graffit art, nike has recently released Nike Zoom Force 1 x Stash. The snowboarding boots contains of stash's signature spray caps print and a very subtle but classic colorway of black and white. Once again, Nike has ventured into another extreme sport with a classic basketball shoe design... There is also a clean white/white colorway, but they're for women. Here is the official link to Nike's site.

Casual - Freestyle In The Park
Casual's always been one of my favorite MCs. He's been def for years, and that line where he goes, "the mic motivator, hold the mic like Yoda hold the sabre" in his Handsome Boy collab, kills me everytime. Hiero Imperium in full effect on this clip.

Hip Hop for Sale
1520 Sedgwick Ave. the birthplace of Hip-Hop is set to be sold for an estimated 7.5 million dollars. Kind of crazy to think that the place that began a movement is about to be sold for less than 1/10th of what Jay-Z makes. It must have been crazy to be there in its day. The worst part, the sale of the building is putting the future of the building's 100+ residents in jeopardy. Now the placed that housed Hip-Hop, won't be home to anyone. But I guarantee, the essence will always remain.

Banksy Update
We posted an entry a few weeks back about Banksy, and who he was. I was looking through a few articles, and actually got my first glimpse of what the actual Englishman looked like. I have his book, and have looked through parts of it, but never actually saw an actual picture of the man himself. Nevertheless, before the hurricanes arrived this year, Banksy went through New Orleans painting up a storm. And what it seems, is that people have been going through the Lower Ninth Ward cutting out his pieces and keeping it as their own. Shoot, I would too if I was there. The remaining pieces that can't be cut out, have been getting painted over.
