I went to the San Francisco Zoo yesterday, for a number of reasons. But one of the reasons I went was to see the Eurasian Owl they have on display. Story is that, the owl was smuggled into the U.S. as an easter egg, and when the smuggler was caught, the egg was given to the zoo to take care of. The Owl hatched about 3 years ago, but no information about it could be given until the trial was over. But now you can go see the owl near the family farm section of the zoo. Thing is huge. Just thought that this had a pretty dope story.
